Food for Thought Launch; dignitaries visit the garden

On Monday this week, Education Scotland held a resources launch event.  They have produced a "Food for Thought" poster and leaflet encouraging people to see the many cross curricular links that food and health has to offer.  They will be distributed to all schools in Scotland.
We were privileged to be chosen as a venue.  The organiser Kerry Crichton was very pleased to be at the Academy with the chance to visit the garden.  She agreed to "cut the ribbon" on our new greenhouse to officially open it too.
Healthy refreshments greeted attendees of the launch.
There were interesting speakers (detailed in the press article linked in the previous post), then some guests came up to see the garden.

The press photographer adjusts both Danielle's and Lewis's glasses.
